When trying to learn Nyc or plan your vacation, there are many versions of maps of Manhattan Ny, NewYork City road Maps and Subway Maps. There are free, paid, folding and online interactive Nyc maps. It commonly takes a combination of all of these maps to navigate Nyc, but here are a few shortcuts.
A good Manhattan neighborhood map should include: Upper West Side, Midtown West/ Hell's Kitchen, Times Square/Broadway, Central Park, Garment Center, Chelsea, Meatpacking District, West Village, SoHo, Tribeca/Battery Park City, Financial District/ Wall Street, Chinatown, exiguous Italy, Lower East Side, East Village, NoHo, Union Square/ Flatiron and the Upper East Side.

Find a NewYork City tourist Map and a Detailed Map of Manhattan, designed especially for those new to Nyc or person planning a vacation. If you want to know where the model of freedom is relative to the Empire State Building, these are great maps to use. There is also a list of easy and free road Maps of Manhattan, along with every Manhattan neighborhood and it's legal neighborhood website.
Combined Nyc road and Subway Maps are usually the most difficult to find, as most maps have one or the other. One place you can visit is this site I found with a detailed NewYork City Street and Subway Map. You can enter in any address and it shows you the surrounding streets, subways, neighborhoods and major attractions. If you are only looking for subway directions, to get from Point A to Point B, try HopStop, a Nyc favorite.

Education has changed significantly in the last twenty years. One of the main reasons study has undergone so many changes is because of technological development. Technology has made investigate much easier. Before online Encyclopedias, Google Scholar, Jstor, and other online investigate tools were available, students were forced to spend numerous hours in the library. With the new tools, students can guide investigate faster in the ease of their homes. With Google and other search engines, students can find relevant information faster and more efficiently. Also, there is no more need for intensive memorization as information is more easily available.

Not production the list were Richard Hatch - Survivor Game Show Winner, Richard Belzer - Actor (Homicide: Life on the Street) and Stand Up Comedian, Richard Daley - Chicago Mayor, Richard Adams - Author (Watership Down), Richard Lugar - United States Senator from Indiana, Richard Russo - Author (Empire Falls), Richard Dawson - Actor (Hogan's Heros) and Game Show Host (Family Feud), and Richard Carstone - a character in Charle's Dickens novel Bleak House.
I was surprised that the artists (Avedon and Prince) did so well while the authors (Adams and Russo) did not, but maybe having a lot of images online helps build popularity. Not of course surprising that the major movie stars (Gere, Burton, and Dreyfuss) were high on the list or that President Nixon was number one.

Stern announced early into his show this past Thursday that he's signed a new 5 year contract with Sirius XM Satellite Radio. The new deal will lock up Stern on the satellite radio provider until 2015. By the time this new deal is done, Stern will be 62 years old. He'll still be on a 4-day a week schedule with "Best of the Week" shows airing on Fridays. It was widely reported that one of the provisions Stern wanted in a new deal included that he'd only work 3 days a week as opposed to 4. He even contemplated not even going to Times Square (where the Sirius XM studios are located) to do his show. It is expected that Robin, Fred, etc. will also be resigned since what's the Howard Stern Show without "BaBaBooey" references and constant jokes about Quivers' boobies. Stern apparently was milking this given what he said Wednesday. He tried to play his listeners into the idea that he wasn't sure about which way the negotiations would play out. Then 24 hours later...he signs a new 5 year deal!! I wasn't expecting an announcement until next week. I wake up the next day to turn on CNN and it says on their "Bottom Line News Ticker" that Howard had signed a new 5 year contract. Come again! Didn't this guy just say that he wasn't sure about a new deal 24 hours ago. Apparently something must've happened that he wasn't ...
